Today's JCHS Softball game at Waterloo has been canceled. The game is rescheduled for tomorrow and will be played in Jersey. Start time is 4:30. A senior ceremony will take place following the game.


The U of I Extension created and implemented a simulation to the entire JCHS Sophomore Class. "Welcome to the Real World" allowed students to choose a post-graduation path and make a series of "real world" decisions including: the influence of career and consumer choices, managing finances, evaluate his or her success, and explore alternatives to balance a budget.

You know summer is almost here when this tradition of the crochet mandala masterpiece gets installed at George's in Downtown Jerseyville!
This is a collaborative effort between Mrs. Heitzig's Design students, Jersey County Arts Council, and volunteers in our community, and of course, Andy, Richie, and Tim at George's!


Mrs. Bruns' high school students have spent the past nine months reading to Mrs. Spencer's and Mrs. Goetten's kindergarten students every Friday. The experience has fostered priceless relationships and provided the high schoolers with a motivating way to start their Fridays. Mrs. Bruns noted that the weekly collaboration has led to improved attendance and confidence among her students. The kindergartners also looked forward to their time with their big buddies each week. This program has definitely been a highlight for both the high school and kindergarten students! Thank you to Mrs. Bruns for initiating this wonderful program.


JCMS P3D (Panthers Promoting Positive Decisions) hosted the First Responders of Jersey County this morning for a breakfast appreciation! Thank you to our P3D leaders: Rita Robertson, Ron Linenfelser, and Leanne Thompson for organizing this event and to the heroes of Jersey County for your selfless service to keep our community safe!!










All 4th grade students at East Elementary toon an end of the year test over all 50 states and capitals. These students passed with 100% and were rewarded with a pizza party hosted by Dr. Anderson.


Today's JCHS Baseball and Softball games have been canceled. The Varsity baseball game at Waterloo has been moved to tomorrow.


Sophomores in College & Career Readiness got to experience mock interviews with local stakeholders.
These sophomores were IMPRESSIVE!

Congrats to IESA State Qualifiers in Track : Makenna Brunaugh, Madisyn Burch, Marley Cazier, Kaley Jo Gibson, Brenley Kelly and Alexa Wilkins.


Seniors in TEACH class hosted a Reverse Teacher Fair where they displayed their hard work throughout their year and interacted with teachers, administrators, peers, and family members who attended.
These students plan to pursue a career in education. Jersey graduates who completed this program have been promised a Golden Ticket = $5,000 sign on bonus if they come back to Jersey CUSD #100 when they complete their bachelors degree to pursue a career as a teacher.

East Elementary's 4th grade students had a great time at Glow Up Day! They earned this reward for rocking their MAP Assessments. They did math, reading, art, games, and even a dance party!
