JCMS students collected a total of 460 items to donate to local hospitals, directly benefiting children who will be in the hospital during the holidays. We are so proud of all the students and families who will be bringing joy to so many with their donations!
Grafton Elementary Pre-K hosted a playgroup Wednesday evening! The students were so proud to show off their classroom and the school to their families. It was heartwarming to see their excitement.

JCHS business students Nolan Craigmiles, Bryant Henderson, and Brandon Kennedy won the SIFMA Foundation IL Stock Market Game for the fall period. The Team competed against 2,224 other teams in the state of IL. They won the game by earning over $206,000 in three and half months. They will receive a $100 gift card for winning!
Today, Junior, Makayla Woolsey brought su abuela (her grandma) Rosie for her Spanish 3 ¨Muestre y Explique¨ (show and tell) presentation. Abuela Rosie brought homemade tamales for the Spanish classes to enjoy. They were muy deliciosos!

Jersey Community School District is excited to announce that Ms. Twila Prunty and Ms. Laura Meyers-McGee both received a very generous grant from Scott Credit Union. With these grants, the Life Skills classrooms at JCMS and JCHS will both receive updated appliances and other supplies to implement the Life Skills program in our district. Jersey Community School District would like to thank Scott Credit Union's With You Grant program for these generous grants.
