Mrs. Beauchamp's first grade class at West Elementary is playing a fun December game! Just last week, they started Christmas bingo-they can cross off squares for compliments and good behavior. They have already almost filled their card! Great Job!


Attention JCHS students: The United States Army National Guard will be visiting on Tuesday, December 14th. Recruiters will be available during 4th and 5th hour lunches to meet with interested students.


Congrats to the JCHS wrestlers who medaled at Saturday’s Junior Varsity wrestling tournament: James Busch - 1st place; Ryan Mackintosh - 3rd place; and Colin Jones - 3rd place.

Out of an abundance of caution, the JCHS Boys Basketball team will temporarily pause their season for 10 days due to an increase in positive Covid-19 cases. All games and practices will be cancelled during the temporary pause. The JCHS activities office is in the process of rescheduling the postponed contests.

Author Visit by Chad Morris and Shelly Brown - Mustaches for Maddie
JCMS had an amazing day with the authors of our One Book, One School selection - Mustaches for Maddie today! Chad and Shelly traveled from Salt Lake City, Utah to share their message of kindness and compassion with our students. They treated our students to an engaging and interactive experience that was focused on kindness, social-emotional health, and the value of reading. What an awesome day to be a JCMS Panther!





The Lady Panthers fell to the Highland Bulldogs on Thursday night. They head to Carrollton on Saturday!


Jersey Scholastic Bowl beats Triad but falls short to Mascoutah and Belleville East.

Panther wrestlers lost 30-46 to Springfield but Logan Czaia, Connor Chin, Liam McGuire, Ethan Porter and Jaydon Busch got pins.


School will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10th.


JCHS Sophomore Class of 2024 Council celebrated the holidays by making Christmas cards for community members who could use some help making their spirits brighter! These kids also donated hygiene products for Christmas for our very own students at JCHS. 💚❤️

What an awesome Friday night! The Boys Basketball Team, Cheerleaders, and Blue Crew sing the school fight song to celebrate a 65-41 victory over Civic Memorial.


Better late than never, right?! JCHS Cross Country ended their excellent season with an awards banquet, hosted by Coach Landon! Way to go, team!
