JCMS 5th Grade Earth Day Activities!

The JCHS Band Department held its annual Spring Concert Sunday afternoon. Kudos to all of our student musicians!

The Harlem Wizards do it again! Students, teachers, and families laughed, cheered - and danced! - Friday night at the Wizards game at JCHS.

Kudos again to our talented JCHS students who were selected to perform as members of the MVC Honor Choir and Honor Band.

Earth Day in 7th grade STEM! Students explored Oil Spills this week. The culmination was a simulated oil spill. Students gathered bird feathers and eliminated as much oil as possible in a 15 minute time period. Collaboration, communication, and planning were the keys to this task!

JCMS Student Council celebrated Earth Day by cleaning up the River Road. The kids worked hard and picked up a lot of trash along the routes. Thanks for making Jersey County a great place to live!

Students at West Elementary celebrated Earth Day today! Check out some of our first grade students! They learned about plants, went on a nature walk, and got to eat "dirt"! What a fun day!

West Elementary students had a blast today!!! They were entertained by the Harlem Wizards! You can watch the Harlem Wizards at JCHS tonight at 7pm. Tickets are available at the door. ($12 adults, $11 students) K-6 students must be accompanied by an adult.

JCHS Illinois State Scholars were honored at Wednesday's Board of Education Meeting. Jersey 100 is incredibly proud of this group of students. Way to go!
