JCMS - Back to School
We had an AMAZING first day!!!



The Jersey 100 Board of Education approved the hiring of Mr. Rob Steinkuehler as Activities and Athletic Director. Mr. Steinkuehler is a 2004 graduate of JCHS and has spent the last 13 years at Blackburn College serving as Athletic Director and the Head Men’s Soccer Coach.


JCHS Senior, Zach Hoffman, chose to ride the bus to school on his last first day of school. When asked why, he said, “because I like my bus driver. He’s awesome.” Shout out to Mr. Ralph Dunham for making such an impact on our students! We appreciate you!


These Jersey 100 teachers achieved Google Greatness over the summer by receiving their Google Educator Level 1 Certification. Congratulations to Sarah Harlan, Breanna Meunstermann, Brian Borkowski, Robing Downing, Melissa Beauchamp, Melanie Fessler, and Jill Lamer.


JCMS Panther Softball drops a hard fought contest to Edwardsville Liberty/Lincoln 1-5. Players battled and we are proud of them.

JCMS Softball scores 4 in the seventh inning to defeat Triad MS 7-4 and improve to 6-0. Go Panthers!!!!


The Jersey 100 Board of Education approved the hiring of Mrs. Niki Egelhoff as Assistant Principal of Jersey Community Middle School. Mrs. Egelhoff was recognized in 2020 with an Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award for her dedication to students and innovative teaching practices. Mrs. Egelhoff has taken the lead on various committees at JCMS, making a tremendous impact on serving students and developing staff.


The Jersey 100 Board of Education approved the hiring of Mr. Thomas Leslie as Principal of Jersey Community Middle School. Mr. Leslie spent 14 years teaching at Richland County Middle School in Olney, IL. He joined the Jersey 100 family as JCMS Assistant Principal in 2019.


The Jersey 100 Board of Education approved the hiring of Dr. Jason Brunaugh as Principal of Jersey Community High School. Dr. Brunaugh has been employed by Jersey 100 for twenty-one years, serving the last past ten as an administrator.

Middle School Girls Softball improves to 4-0 after defeating Winchester 19-4. Go Panthers!


JCMS Panthers softball moves to 3-0 after defeating Bethalto Trimpe 11-8. B team also played well in their afternoon contest. Proud to be Panthers!


JCMS Panthers Softball home opener moves the team to 2-0 on the season after defeating Carlinville 16-0. The B team also won 6-4. Congrats Panthers!


JCHS Girls Tennis practice will begin on Monday, August 8th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the JCHS Tennis Courts. Please make sure you have a current physical on file prior to practice.

Jersey 100 staff spent an amazing two days with Capturing Kids’ Hearts trainer, Shane Naterman, learning processes on social-emotional well-being, relationship-driven school culture, and student connectedness. Thank you, Shane!
