On Halloween, the JCHS National Honor Society hosted a dress-up day and costume contest as part of their Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF project. Students and staff were encouraged to “Add some meaning to their Halloweening.” by donating at least $1. In addition, several NHS members also went door to door that night to trick-or-treat for spare change. All donations will help the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) respond to crises, deliver vaccines, and ensure education in 190 countries and territories. Winning costumes were chosen in the following categories: best group, best duo, funniest, most creative, and best look-a-like. In total, NHS raised over $400 in donations.
