The 5th and 6th grade Olympiad teams from JCMS had a great day competing at the Jr Olympiad today.

Mrs. Davis gave a lesson on decomposition for 🌎 Earth Day. Pumpkin Jack went through many changes in six months! Mrs. Goetten and Mrs. Jones’ classes experienced first hand why recycling is important!



JCMS Student Council completed their annual River Road clean-up project. The students did an amazing job giving back to our community.




The JCMS Blue Crew traveled to Pere Marquette on Tuesday, March 23 . Students planted over 150 plants for Earth Day!

The JCMS Track event at East Alton-Wood River has been postponed to tomorrow, 4/24.


JCHS students from Mrs. Galeana's Child Development classes visited Mrs. DeSherlia's 2nd graders at East Elementary on Friday. Mrs. Galeana's students were interested in learning about what 7 and 8 year old children can do at school. The 2nd graders were happy to show the high schoolers how well they can read and write! This was an awesome collaboration in Jersey 100!



Shoutout to the dedicated AP Chemistry students In Ms. Gaffney's AP Chemistry class. These students have been putting in the extra hours on Saturdays to prep for the upcoming AP exam! Your commitment and determination are truly inspiring.

ScoreZone from the Weekend


JCHS students from the Advanced STEM class participated in the LCCC Trebuchet Competition on Friday, April 19th. The three teams from JCHS competed against teams from other area high schools to design, build, and utilize trebuchets.
Congratulations to the team of J.R. Wells, Kaeden Hutchens, Jacob Shipley, and Isaac Wargo for winning first place!
