Ms. Prunty's class had an amazing day at the St. Louis Zoo! 🦁🐘 From exploring the wild habitats to learning about animals from all over the world; our students had a blast while getting up close with some incredible creatures.

Exciting news! JCHS is teaming up with Columbia High School, KSDK, and Operation Food Search for the "Tackle Hunger" football game next week! We will have a collection at admission gates tomorrow night. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to help our efforts.

Pictures for East Elementary will be on Thursday, October 17th.

JCHS Students in Child Development and Design classes were asked to assist East teachers one late afternoon per month. This month's student lead collaborative effort was Halloween Bingo with 2nd and 3rd graders.

JCHS College and Career Readiness students were randomly assigned pen pals with East 4th graders to practice written communication skills. After letters were exchanged, students got to meet via Google Meet!

Jersey County CEO students shared with College and Career Readiness how this LCCC Dual Credit opportunity provides meaningful experiences with our local stakeholders. CEO students are currently working on their class business that will be unveiled soon!
This is an elective opportunity for our juniors and seniors! More details will be available in the spring!
