Congrats to the JCMS Cheer squad for competing in the Edwardsville competition this morning. This is the first time the team has competed in the competitive routine middle school division in 15 years. Congrats!


Congratulations to JCHS Bowling on a great showing at the Southern Illinois Team Challenge hosted at Bel Air Bowl. The Boys took 1st place in the Silver Division while the Girls finished 2nd in the Silver Division.

Grafton Elementary- Prepare to have your heart melted! Our K-2nd grade musical performance was the cutest thing. These little performers were adorable and their energy was contagious. ⭐️




JCHS Library Recap/Update:
Jersey 100 Digital Coaches and Library Media Specialists recently showcased "Making Media Centers Magic" at the AISLE and IETC Conferences, sharing their insights with fellow educators throughout the state. The featured genres for the JCHS November Genre Challenge were Classics, Graphic Novels, and Dystopian. Mrs. Leslie and the JCHS Book Club has enjoyed reading and discussing their second book of the school year, Love in English by Maria Andreu. Finally, many students participated in the “Turkey Transformation Challenge,” where they were encouraged to reimagine turkey outlines, turning them into a historical figure, modern celebrity, or fictional character! The top 3 designs determined by popular vote are pictured.




Mr. Morgan's business students Nolan Craigmiles, Bryant Henderson, and Brandon Kennedy won the SIFMA Foundation IL Stock Market Game for the fall period. The Team competed against 2,224 other teams in the state of IL. They won the game by earning over $206,000 in three and half months. They will receive a $100 gift card for winning!


JCMS students collected a total of 460 items to donate to local hospitals, directly benefiting children who will be in the hospital during the holidays. We are so proud of all the students and families who will be bringing joy to so many with their donations!


Grafton Elementary Pre-K hosted a playgroup Wednesday evening! The students were so proud to show off their classroom and the school to their families. It was heartwarming to see their excitement.

Today, Junior, Makayla Woolsey brought su abuela (her grandma) Rosie for her Spanish 3 ¨Muestre y Explique¨ (show and tell) presentation. Abuela Rosie brought homemade tamales for the Spanish classes to enjoy. They were muy deliciosos!
