Health Sciences Day at SWIC - Belleville was incredibly informative! Students witnessed trauma response scenarios, participated in simulations, met department coordinators, toured classrooms, and got their questions answered by faculty and currently enrolled students. Thank you SWIC for including us in this informative and well-coordinated event!

Today's Varsity Softball game at Alton High has been cancelled.

JCHS started a brand new class this year - under the direction of Mr. Brent Stater - Introduction to Guitar. Mr. Stater and his students have risen to the challenge - they are at the level of rock bands - performing to the likes of Green Day!




The JCHS JV tennis team took first place today at the Alton doubles invitational! Way to go, Panthers!

JCHS Athletics is making a BIG MOVE! We're excited to announce that we will be leaving the MVC and joining the Cahokia Conference in Fall 2026! This decision supports our long-term goals for student-athlete development, competition, and success.

Raeanna and Reese attended High School Actuary Day at RGA Global HQ in Chesterfield, MO. They left this event feeling informed, motivated, and empowered.

Due to unplayable field conditions, today's JCHS softball games with Collinsville have been CANCELLED.

Dr. Johnson and Dr. Burroughs traveled to JCHS today to present senior Kiley Pickel with the Dr. Stacy Burroughs scholarship award. Kiley was eligible since her mother, Michelle Pickel, is a 5th grade teacher at JCMS! Dr. Burroughs said Kiley stood out for her talent, service, and hard work. We are proud of you Kiley!!
