
Tomorrow's Co-Ed Track Meet - Greenville Invite - has been moved to Monday!


West Elementary students are wishing good luck to our fabulous custodian, Mr. Brian Patsaros. Mr. Patsaros is participating in the "Fight for Air" stair climb tomorrow. Last year he completed 40 floors in a little over 6 minutes, and he is hoping to beat his time this year!


Ms. Beauchamp's and Mrs. Beuttel's classes collaborated on an animal report as the culmination of their animal unit in Literature. They researched an animal and wrote facts about their animal. The finished products are hanging in the building for all of our classmates to see!

JCMS Student Council sponsors student of the month and faculty member of the month. The students are nominated by their teachers and the teachers were nominated by their co-workers! Congrats to 5th grade student Mylie Ramirez and 5th grade teacher Rachel Evans, 6th grade student Logan Huitt and teacher Christy Schilling, 7th grade student Justin Laird and teacher Toni Goetten!


JCMS sixth graders continue to learn about Alaska and the Iditarod to prepare for the race in May. Students made maps of the state and labeled the trail as well as many other things.





Students in Mrs. Wittś 5th grade class started a unit today on coding. This activity introduces students to computer science and the programming language Scratch. The students are working in Fashion and Design on this project. #GoJerseyPanthers




United Airlines pilot, First Officer Chris Dohrn, kicked-off his 4 week Jr. Pilot program in Mrs. Brady/Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Egelhoff's 5th grade classrooms this week. Students are eagerly awaiting the next session and look forward to earning their wings upon course completion.

Mrs. DeSherlia’s 2nd grade class hatched chicks from local farm eggs! They were lucky enough to watch one hatch, and enjoyed several days of observing and caring for their nine chicks before they were taken to a farm to live. This was a great way to welcome spring! #GoJerseyPanthers





Kindergarten students at West Elementary had a very special guest reader yesterday! We thank Mr. Tuttle for reading the book "We Eat Dinner in our Bathtub" to our students. It is a great book about the value of being different!



Sixth Grade students at JCMS are preparing for our annual Iditarod race held in May. They worked in STEM class to complete a digital breakout session.

The JCMS seventh grade has been learning about different means of flight. Students constructed parachutes and tested them. They have been experimenting with dependent variables by adjusting the bridle weight, shroud line length, or canopy size and shape.





The JCHS Jazz Ensemble and the Lewis & Clark Jazz Band working hard at rehearsal. Do not miss their combined concert at LCCC April 1st at 7:30 pm in the Ahlhemeyer Atrium in the Trimpe Building!

Jersey 100 is very proud to have three teams selected to present at TECH 2019 on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the State Capitol Building in Springfield! Each team will consist of student representatives and teachers. Through these team demonstration at TECH 2019, our students will be key technology ambassadors to the state legislators who serve our schools.
