Mrs. Lamer's 4th grade students put their geometry skills to the test programming robots. The students first created a path for the robot to follow. The path included acute, obtuse, and right angles. When they programmed their robot they had to decide how many degrees, at what speed, and for how many seconds the robot should roll. Their programs did not work the first 4-5 tries, but the students used their problem solving skills to get their robot back on track. It was great to see the perseverance in problem solving these students displayed. #Jersey100Proud

Mrs. Fessler's 2nd grade Students love the challenge of computer coding. The students do not give up when it gets tough and they even fix their own errors. At the completion of a level one could see the delight on their faces. One girl even said, "I am going to be a computer programmer when I grow up." #Jersey100Proud
