5th Graders at JCMS held their monthly character assembly today. This month’s trait was responsibility. The assembly was student led by Mrs. Egelhoff’s class and they did a great job!

West Elementary Families--Check out this "PAW-Some" kindergarten student! We have a new program honoring students who do "PAW-some" things at school. If your student comes home with a "PAW-some" sticker like this student has on--be sure to ask them about it!

The JCHS lobby was a "Sea of Blue and Orange" this morning to promote Panther Pride and the "Stomp Out Bullying Initiative" that begins next week. Our students represented themselves, their school, and the cause extremely well! Way to go Panthers!

Fun Times at Family Library Night! Check out these smiling faces--these students and their families attended Family Library Night at West. Please join us for our next Family Library Night on 10/17/19 from 5-7 p.m.



JCMS students worked hard to unload a whole lot of chocolate for our school fundraiser! Instead of our traditional magazine drive, this year we will be selling chocolate bars. All of the money that our students earn will be spent on equipment, programs, and special initiatives for students. We will be sending home additional information on October 8 outlining the sale and prizes that students can earn. As always, we appreciate your continued support!


Freshman Football fell to Waterloo 40-20. They play Mascoutah next week!
Girls Volleyball played at Waterloo tonight. The Bulldogs beat the Panthers at all 3 levels: Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity.
Boys Soccer News: JCHS and Civic Memorial battled in a close game. In the end, CM came out on top 3-2.
Jersey Community- wear blue tomorrow to promote Panther Pride and “Niceness is Priceless”, our anti-bullying initiative!

Students in Mrs. Witt’s 5th grade class Skyped with a NASA scientist! Students learned about planets, black holes, meteors, and his work at NASA!
