Mrs. Siemer’s class started their rainbow unit in the Cafetorium with an art project and making, baking and eating rainbows with our wonderful cooks, Becky and Tiffany. We colored the batter, layered it in the muffin pans and baked them. They came out looking amazing and tasting delicious. The kids cheered when they bit into them and saw all the colors of the rainbow. It was a great Fun Food Friday!

Facilities do have a big impact learning. The new Panther Den at West Elementary is a great place for students to explore. The space is designed to allow a large group of students seating and viewing of the big screen TV, but it also has plenty of room to spread out for exploring. It was the ideal setting for 1st grade students in Ms. Beauchampś class to experiment with coding today. Even Mr. Greg Brown helped the students program their robots. #GoJerseyPanthers
