Mr. Ben Gracey treated 8 JCHS seniors to breakfast this morning at Fran and Marilyn's. This is their yearly "Masters of the Constitution" breakfast. These students had the highest scores on the Constitution exam in Government class this semester. They are such an outstanding group and are going to represent our community so well at the next level!

Congrats to JCHS junior Elese Smith who was named to the Illinois Journalism of Education All-State Journalism team! Elese is a two-year member of the Panther Prowler yearbook and the current editor in chief. She will attend a banquet in Springfield on June 1 where she will receive her award. Selection to the All-State Team means that she represents the BEST in high school journalism. This is the first time we have entered a member of our staff!
