Past Homecoming Spirits, Mr. Greg Brown and Dr. Tim Lyons, visited Mrs. Jones' classroom and shared what an honor it is to be named a Jerseyville Panther Spirit. Once a Panther. . . .always a Panther!



West Elementary is so thankful for digital coach, Mrs. Melanie Fessler. She created a Panther themed slide show for students to use during Homecoming week! Students practiced skills such as letter identification, number order, and counting! THANK YOU to Mrs. Fessler for helping our students and teachers!



Congratulations to our Senior Girls Tennis players: Ashleigh Gotway, Aubrey McCormick, and Maura Eads who won their last home matches at JCHS on their Senior Night! Way to go ladies!!

Freshman Football lost to Mascoutah 35-22
Girls Tennis defeated Granite City 7-2
Boys Freshman Soccer lost to Triad 2-1
JCHS students have been celebrating Homecoming Week with theme days which included “hippie day” and “favorite character day”...our students went above and beyond with their outfits and showed a ton of school spirit!


Mrs. Heitzig’s Advanced Design Classes helped to rally the school together for #BlueUp, the anti-bullying campaign led by the Niceness is Priceless Campaign during
Homecoming Week!

8th grade girls basketball wins 42-16 over East Alton. 7th grade wins 42-10
In JCHS Soccer on Tuesday:
JV tied Highland 1-1
Varsity won on their Senior Night 4-1
(Their record now stands at 15-5)

West Elementary thanks our neighbor Casey's!!!! The staff at Casey's collected donations of change and donated over $1000 worth of supplies for our teachers! We can't express how thankful we are to Casey's Gas Station and their customers!
Volleyball in Mascoutah: JCHS Freshmen lost, JV won, and Varsity lost in 3. Varsity record is now 15-9.
7th graders in Mrs. Goetten’s Honors Literature Class are enjoying a Munch & Read as a reward for good behavior and for going above and beyond in class.




Great News from the JCHS Havens Gym . . . Freshmen, JV, and Varsity volleyball all defeat Greenfield tonight. Varsity record is now 15-8

Due to a scheduling conflict at Mascoutah, the Freshman Football game (originally scheduled for Thursday) has been moved FORWARD a day to Wednesday.
JCHS Freshman Football will play on Wednesday at 6 pm at Mascoutah High School.
