Outdoor band concerts by the JCMS 7th grade band and JCHS jazz combo, Caitlin Alifirenka author visit, ugly sweater and door decorating contests, Christmas trivia challenge, and a visit from Santa with Rudolph and Buddy the Elf. It was a great day to be a Panther! Merry Christmas from the JCMS family!
(Social distancing was observed in all occasions. Photos snapped quickly - with masks in place.)

JCMS concluded our new reading initiative called “One Book, One School” with a live, virtual author visit from Caitlin Alifirenka, co-author of I Will Always Write Back. Through an energetic and engaging session, she told the story of her friendship with Zimbabwean penpal Martin Ganda and how they changed each other’s lives. Our students really connected with her message of “Kindness is Contagious.”

JCHS is hearing that Frontier internet is back online and working. If that's the case and you can get on the internet, please make sure to take your Finals today. Thanks

JCMS - PJs from Heaven: Through the leadership of social worker Mr. Nate Blasa, students at JCMS have been collecting pajamas, blankets, and supplies for children affected by cancer. Mrs. Leslie’s 5th grade class donated the most items (46) along with many others who showed love and support. We are very proud of our generous students!
