
JCMS 5th Grade Orientation:
Principal Dr. Brunaugh visited all Jersey 100 4th grade classrooms to begin the transition activities for our incoming 5th graders next year! Students learned all about JCMS, teachers, activities and had the opportunity to ask a lot of great questions! Upcoming events will include a tour on May 17th, parent orientation, and meet the teachers night in August!

6th grade students in Mrs. Pranger & Mrs. Beckman’s STEM classes created DIY popsicle stick flashlights - materials provided by The University of Illinois Extension Office. They also created life size replicas of an object.



Mrs. Jones' Kindergarten students are proud to be Jersey Panthers. The students are very excited about all the opportunities being a Panther provides. As these students grow and learn, we are very proud to call them Jersey Panthers.





Mrs. Smith and her reading team are testing K-5 student's reading levels. It is exciting to see the growth these students have made this year.

JCHS Boys Tennis beat Jacksonville 9-0.
Panther Baseball lost to Mascoutah 8-0.

JCHS Girls Soccer:
A come-from-behind victory for the Lady Panthers Tuesday evening! JCHS trailed Highland 3-1 at half but scored 3 goals in the second half to win 4-3. A great conference win!

Panther Softball Fans: Today's Softball Games against Triad have been cancelled due to the weather. They have been rescheduled for Thursday, May 20.

Ms. Herkert's 5th-grade students created a new place based on the five themes of geography. The students designed infographics to display their new location visually. They then wrote a paragraph describing each of the five themes included in their place.





Students in Mrs. Noble’s 3rd grade class learned about different landforms and created a diorama of a fictional island using these landforms. They then created a commercial using green screen technology to entice people to come visit their island.
