These students are off to an amazing start to 3rd Quarter at JCMS!




JCHS Boys Basketball fans:
JV and Varsity are playing at Civic Memorial this Friday night, January 14. The Freshman game has been canceled.

JCHS Boys Basketball fans:
The JV game against SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School has been canceled for Thursday, January 13.
The Freshman game will still be played at 5:30.

We're off to see the Wizards!
JCHS Boys Basketball is hosting a visit by the Harlem Wizards Basketball Team on April 22. More information will follow when tickets become available.


JCHS Girls Basketball fans:
Gillespie is unable to field a Girls Varsity Team for basketball tonight. There will be only a JV game at 6:00 at Gillespie.

JCHS Boys Basketball fans:
Southwestern is unable to compete in Boys Basketball on Tuesday, Jan 11. The game has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan 27.

The JCMS Volleyball team will pause their season due to an increase in positive Covid-19 cases. All games and practices will be cancelled during the temporary pause. Games will be rescheduled if possible. Practices and games may resume on Monday, January 17.

JCHS Varsity Dance Team placed 1st in Hip Hop and qualified for State in Poms Dance at competition in Highland!

JCHS Basketball fans:
Taylorville is unable to play in tomorrow’s Taylorville shootout. They have cancelled Saturday’s basketball game.

JCHS Wrestling fans:
Roxana High School has canceled their tourney scheduled for Tuesday, January 11. Our next wrestling meet will be at home on Saturday, January 15.

JCMS Volleyball fans:
Unfortunately Carrollton is unable to play next Monday. The 7th/8th grade volleyball game scheduled at Carrollton on 1/10 has been cancelled.

Jan 6, 2022 - Grafton First Graders celebrated 80's Day on the 80th day of school. They learned about life in the 80's and compared that to life today. They had snacks from the 80's, too.





January 9th is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and we’d like to take a moment to recognize our School Resource Officer, Seth Tefertiller. Before joining the JPD as a Patrolman in 2015, Officer Tefertiller was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps for five years. In addition to instructing D.A.R.E., he is known to join recess and P.E. games! Thank you, Officer T, for your service and for building positive relationships across Jersey 100! #gojerseypanthers

Tonight’s JCMS Boys Basketball game has been cancelled. Gillespie is unable to attend. There will be no middle school basketball tonight.

The Boys & Girls Bowling Teams beat Alton on Tuesday. 3 boys had series over 600: Danny Towell, Tyler Ayers & Eli Hetzel. The girls were led by Sammie Malley & Khloee Hall.

Tonight’s basketball games between JCHS and Waterloo have been rescheduled. There will be no game tonight.

School reconvenes for students on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 with normal school hours.
