First Grade at West Elementary is working to harvest a love of reading. Mrs. Beuttel checks in the reading book bags each morning. It is great to see the smiling faces and hear the students share their love of reading. Miss Ali said she loves reading nonfiction books.


Jersey 100 School Resource Officer Seth Tefertiller stopped by JCMS today to play catch with our students! Thank you Officer T!




The weather is perfect for reading outside! This Grafton first grader is loving the new ARC reading series.


The JCHS Girls Golf Team competed in the MVC Tournament today. The team finished 4th. All-Conference Players: Bria Tuttle 5th and Madi Darr 8th.



JCHS Homecoming tickets are on sale in the main lobby before and after school and during lunches.


JCHS Boys Soccer celebrated Senior night on Friday. Zachary Wargo was recognized before the game against Jacksonville.


JCHS JV Football runs their record to 5-0 after defeating Mascoutah 30-16. Congrats to the student athletes on a great start to the season.



The JCHS Panthers took the field Friday in cammo jerseys thanks to the Army National Guard. The Panthers fell to the Mascoutah Indians 65-36.

JCHS students are getting ready for their futures! Dr. Geers gave an exciting presentation to all Seniors this week during their English classes. Students learned how to request a transcript, apply to colleges and discussed scholarships and financial aid opportunities!!
