Grafton First Grade Gardeners

Today at JCHS was "United with Ukraine Day". Students and Staff showed support for Kateryna Savienkova, our Ukrainian exchange student. Students and Staff wore yellow and blue, our band played the Ukrainian Anthem, and flags and signs were placed throughout the building. We are very proud of our students and staff for all the great things they created to show support. Kateryna and Dominik Schrenk, a fellow exchange student, created a fantastic video to raise awareness about the situation in Ukraine. Please check it out below:

National Robotics Week
JCMS 6th Grade STEM
Mr. Madson and Mrs. Beckman
In this lesson students built their driving base with sensors and an arm. The objective was to program their driving base to move towards the colored legos and use the arm to retrieve the lego and drag it back to a starting point. Then, they repeated the program to complete a "relay race" collecting 4 different colored legos.
