The JCHS Dance Team is sponsoring a dance clinic for students ages Pre-K through 8th grade. Forms are available at your child's school.

February 7-11 is National School Counseling Week and JCHS is blessed with three fantastic School Counselors! Ms. Kim Davis, Dr. Julie Geers, and Ms. Elyese Rench are always available for our students and work tirelessly to assist them with their academic, career, and social-emotional needs. Please take some time during this week to thank them for all they do for our students, families, and community!


The JCHS Dance Team took 1st Place in Hip Hop at the IDTA Regional Competition in Highland. The team has qualified for State!

All JCHS and JCMS extracurricular activities are cancelled for today, Friday, February 4. Girls Basketball will play at Mascoutah Monday night. Boys Basketball will play at Mascoutah, Monday, February 14.

All JCHS and JCMS extracurricular activities are cancelled again for today, Thursday, February 3, due to the weather conditions.


Due to hazardous conditions, there will be no school tomorrow, Friday, February 4, 2022. This will be another snow day. All decisions about extra-curricular activities will be made by 12 pm and communicated via social media.


Aleigha Taylor signed with Greenville University on Monday. Congrats to Aleigha who will join the Greenville Marching Band in the fall!


Congratulations to Madelaine Ramirez who signed with McKendree University earlier this week. Madelaine will be joining the McKendree Cheer Team next fall!

Four JCHS Music Students performed Saturday in the ILMEA All-State Concert. The concert had 300 of the top musicians in the state (out of 20,000 auditions).

Hunter earned a solo in the concert.




Owen Weber made JCHS history this weekend by being the 1st Jazz Musician from JCHS to make and perform in the All State HONOR Jazz Band. He currently is ranked 2nd in the state. He performed Friday night in Peoria with the top 90 Jazz musicians in the state. Great job Owen!
