West Elementary 1st grade class had a goal to bring in 100 of each coin per class for 100th day. They knew that at the end of our 100th day the coins would be going to Stella to help with expenses that their family might have right now. Our first graders really stepped up and brought in $797.46. A few extra dollars were given to make our total $800 to give to the Schultz family.

Stellar performances from the JCHS Bands. They performed pieces from many different movie scores. It was a nostalgic and entertaining concert. Congratulations to all the JCHS Band members!

To celebrate National School Counseling Week, our counseling team at JCHS planned a great week of activities for our students! Monday they held a College Fair with over 30 Universities, Colleges, Trade Schools and US Military represented. On Friday, Mindfulness Day included stress relieving activities such as yoga, art, puzzles, and even therapy dogs! We are very proud of our School Counselors!

The Virtual Backpack is a convenient way to provide parents and students with important information and materials that would traditionally be sent home in a physical backpack. By hosting electronic versions of flyers, notes, and resources on the Jersey 100 website, parents and students can easily access and refer to these materials without the need for physical papers.
The organization of folders for each school allows parents and students to find the relevant information for their specific school quickly. Given that this is a new initiative, we will be adding information gradually as the school year progresses.
Check out the Virtual Backpack at https://www.jersey100.org/page/virtual-backpack

3rd and 4th graders at Grafton Elementary had an electrifying lesson to celebrate their 100th day of school! These curious scientists got a zap of knowledge about electrical safety, static electricity, and dynamic electricity - who knew learning could be so shockingly fun?

In our 4th grade Amplify Science classes, we are investigating why there are fewer geckos in the rain forests of the Philippines. Jackson's dad brought in his leopard gecko to share with our classes. Jackson and his dad shared how they take care of him and tried to feed him a cockroach.

One hundred incredible days have flown by, and as we mark this milestone, we can't help but marvel at the amazing growth our students have achieved at Grafton Elementary!
