West Elementary just received some fabulous news!!! For the second year in a row we were named a Capturing Kids Hearts National Showcase School. This honor reflects the heart and dedication our staff bring to our students each and every day! Building positive emotional relationships is so important for our kids--and our West staff excels!

JCHS Girls Soccer wins on Senior Night! The Panthers bested Jacksonville 3-1!


It's a special night for JCHS Girls Soccer as they honor their senior players. Congratulations to our four seniors; Ava Burney, Annie Hansen, Meredith Schroeder and Ella Smith. The Panthers are currently playing through the rain and up 1-0 on Jacksonville!


JCHS JV/V Softball has been cancelled for Monday, May 12th.


Guess what Grafton Elementary Pre-K got to experience?! The amazing cycle of life with their very own baby chicks! 🐣 From egg to adorable fluffballs, our little learners got a firsthand look at this incredible process. So much learning and wonder packed into those tiny shells!

Rock Lives at JCHS! Mr. Stater, some members of JCHS Choir and students in the newly offered guitar class performed a rock concert at JCHS in the lobby. The concert featured solos, duets, 8th grade choir, and a rock setlist from Elvis to Nirvana!

JCMS Band and Chorus students showcased their musical talents during the spring concerts held this week, delivering impressive performances that reflected their hard work, dedication, and growth over the school year.

Congrats to Meredith Dougherty—1st in District 3 Extemporaneous Speaking & top 10 in the state! She heads to state in June! Also, shoutout to Clay Wadlow, Caitlyn Poletti & Meredith for placing 10th in State Ag Business CDE. Meredith also took 4th in Job Interview!


JCHS hosted the Girls MVC Track & Field meet last night, and the Panthers climbed to 4th place. Congrats to Amelia Strebel, Abbi Benz, Brenley Kelly, Morgan Allen, Julia West, Madisyn Burch & Belle Peuterbaugh for placing top 3 in their events!

The Marching Panthers kicked off the 2025-2026 season with the incoming Freshmen, prepping for the Memorial Day Parade. Join us in honoring our Veterans at the Memorial Day Parade—Monday, May 26 at 9 AM. Come out and support!



Our 3rd and 4th grade Music students at Grafton put on a fantastic Spring Concert this past Wednesday, May 7th! It was such a joy to hear them showcasing their recorder skills, learning all about beats and notes. What a fun evening of music!
