JCH Family Medicine Physician, Dr. Tim Lyons, came to Mr. Krumwiede’s Healthcare Occupations class to demonstrate suturing, stapling, and gluing human skin after a laceration. Students were able to gain hands on experience with their own suturing practice kits. Thank you, Dr. Lyons!

Advanced STEM students from JCHS competed against other area high school students at the LCCC Trebuchet Competition. Both JCHS teams did a fantastic job.
The Jersey Navy team of Brayden Cox, Jack Deist, Caden Klunk, and Brady Maxeiener won second place. The Jersey White team of Aaron Hughes, Bryce Hutchens, Shane Lamer, and Lucas Long earned sixth place.

Our West Elementary kindergarteners had a wonderful time at the Jerseyville Public Library! Beyond the books, our students had a blast in the imaginary play area, where they let their creativity run wild.
