Safe Food Specialist, Mrs. Linda Petterson, was a week-long guest instructor in Nutrition & Culinary Arts classes at JCHS. Students then took the Safe Food Handler's Exam. We have noticed a genuine shift in the confidence of the 70+ students who earned this valuable employability certification.
If your place of employment is hiring and would like us to advertise to our students at JCHS via email, we are happy to do so!

First graders from West Elementary had a fantastic day at Eckert's Orchard, enjoying a sunny fall field trip and picking their own apples!

Beyond the desk and phone calls, our school secretary took a moment to share the joy of reading with a student. It’s moments like these that show the heart of our school.

Mrs. Heitzig and Mrs. Green's first-grade class had a fantastic time learning all about apples! The students loved the special visit from the Jersey County Farm Bureau, who brought their "Ag in the Classroom" program to life with a fun and engaging lesson.

Earlier today, Jersey CUSD 100 schools followed a secure-in-place procedure out of caution after a community situation reported by local law enforcement. Students and staff were never in danger. Normal dismissal is underway, and parents who wish to pick up their children may do so.
