These high school students are learning the ins and outs of computer hardware in Mr. Shipely's class! From assembling motherboards to installing operating systems, they're building their own custom PCs from scratch. What a great hands-on way to develop technical skills and problem-solving abilities!

The JCHS Library-Media Center was a busy place in August and September! New decor and refreshed furniture placement has contributed to an authentic coffee shop vibe. Also, the entire Fiction collection has been completely reorganized to be browsable by genre, similar to a bookstore. The September monthly reading and Makerspace challenges have further promoted the new and improved way to browse the shelves for the perfect book.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Tony Sanders, Superintendent of the Illinois State Board of Education, and Dr. Steven Isoye, ISBE Board Chairman, to Jersey CUSD 100 today! 🎉
They toured Jersey Community High School, Jersey Community Middle School, and East Elementary, seeing firsthand the incredible work our staff and students are doing. We are deeply grateful for their time, leadership, and unwavering commitment to improving education for all students and educators across Illinois. 🙌
Thank you, Dr. Sanders and Dr. Isoye, for your dedication to making our schools a better place! #Jersey100WhereKidsComeFirst #ISBE #EducationMatters

Our amazing first-grade students had a blast learning about apples at Eckert's Apple Orchard! They explored the orchard, picked their own delicious apples, and learned a lot . What a fantastic field trip! 🍎
