Mrs. Heitzig’s Culinary Arts Classes held a “Lemon Water Photography Competition” this week at JCHS. Each team was provided with 1 lemon, 1 clear plastic cup, ice, and water. Teams were allowed to bring in additional props or garnishes to stage their photo. Congratulations to these winners!
It was an egg-citing day in Nutrition and Culinary Arts Class at JCHS ! Students egg-sperimented by making fried and scrambled eggs, toast, berry garnishes, and sampled turkey bacon too! Egg-cellent job, students!

JCHS welcomes Mr. Dave Kanne, the new Activities Director for Jersey CUSD #100. Mr. Kanne has been a teacher, a coach, an assistant principal, and a principal for the past 35 years. “I am impressed with the students I have met, the student-centered staff, and the dedicated coaches/sponsors who give their time to a multitude of sports and activities.”
