Congratulations to the JCHS Jazz Ensemble for their performance this past Friday at the SIUE Essentially Ellington Festival. Outstanding Musicianship awards went to Abigail Stephens on Vibes, Ellie Huitt on Trumpet, and Kirsten Hetzel on lead Alto.

Today Miss Herkert’s class used their critical thinking and collaboration skills to complete a digital Spring Breakout Activity. There were a series of 5 sets of clues and locks to unlock. One group rose to the challenge and broke out! All of the other groups were on the last lock when time ran out. So close!!
