
Cross Country ran at North Mac Saturday. Cole Martinez ran 16:38 to win the race. Andrew Kribs and Griffin Williams were medalists. Mekena Dugger won in 21:58. Chloe Kallal was second.

JCHS Volleyball adds another tournament championship. The girls win the Wood River/Marquette Tournament. Beat Marquette in 3 games.


JCMS Panther softball falls to a very tough #1 seeded Gillespie team 3-0 in regional action. Our girls had an awesome season! Thank you to Coach Wagner and staff for your dedication to these kids!


Panthers and the Effingham Flaming Hearts battle all night. Effingham comes out on top 34-28. Another home game next Friday vs Civic Memorial.

Fourth-grade students in Mrs. Gray's class used their observation skills to program Ozobots. The students were very excited when the robots learned a new move. They did a great job programming and identify ways to improve their program the next time.

JCHS Fall Play coming September 27-29. "The Man Who Came to Dinner". Thank you to the Adobe classes who are finishing up the programs.


Mrs. Heitzig’s Culinary Arts Classes held a “Lemon Water Photography Competition” this week at JCHS. Each team was provided with 1 lemon, 1 clear plastic cup, ice, and water. Teams were allowed to bring in additional props or garnishes to stage their photo. Congratulations to these winners!



It was an egg-citing day in Nutrition and Culinary Arts Class at JCHS ! Students egg-sperimented by making fried and scrambled eggs, toast, berry garnishes, and sampled turkey bacon too! Egg-cellent job, students!

Happy Friday! PAC Fish Fry tonight prior to our first home football game. It's going to be a beautiful evening to eat some fish and watch our team compete against Effingham at 7:00.

JCHS Boys Golf defeated Marquette and Roxana. Jersey 171 - Alton Marquette 177 - Roxana 201. 3-way tie for medalist included 2 JCHS golfers: Norris & Noble

JCHS Soccer played against Father McGivney. JV loses. Varsity wins: 3-0. Goals by Kribs, Longley & Miller.
