JCHS Scholastic Bowl with two wins and one loss on Thursday. JCHS victorious over Marquette and O'Fallon and with a loss to Collinsville (who is undefeated).
In Basketball, the Lady Panthers beat the Waterloo Bulldogs. Varsity Girls win 74-36. JV Girls win 52-38.
JCHS Bowling sweeps Marquette Thursday night. Cassie Bowman leads girls with a 613 series. Zane Longley rolls a 727 and Jeremy Vanost a 633. Jersey hosts the Boys Regionals on Saturday.
Ms. Herkert's 5th grade class put on our monthly student-led character assembly today to teach their peers about Citizenship. This month they also rewarded the classmates they felt best demonstrated last month's character trait (Trustworthiness).

Our 5th grade at JCMS conducted our annual spelling bee this afternoon. Congratulations to our top 3 finalists! Everyone did a great job!

Friday Night's Away Game against Waterloo has been moved FORWARD to Thursday Night.
Once again: the JV and Varsity Girls Basketball Games originally scheduled for Friday, 1/17 has been moved to Thursday, 1/16.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet at JCHS on Thursday, January 16 at 6:30 - 8:00 pm in room C111.
FCA is open to anyone who likes food, friendships, and elevated conversations.
