
The JCHS Volleyball team recognized those who have suffered from breast cancer at their annual "Pink Out" game. Players dedicated the evening to personal friends or family members who have dealt with the disease. A special event. An awesome team. And an important message.





Good Morning. Today at JCMS we will be conducting a Lockdown Drill to practice our safety procedures. We wanted to make sure you are all aware that we will be practicing this 10 minute drill. Please DO NOT call the school during the drill. As always, thanks for your support.

Students in Ms. Breitweiser’s science classes are participating in a “Futura Internship” and acting as Geohazard engineers and creating Tsunami warning systems. They have to take into consideration; cost, warning time and amount of false alarms. Loving learning at JCMS!





The JCHS Girls Tennis Team held their end of the season awards banquet last night. Congratulations to the players and parents who made the season such a success!


JCHS will be holding it's annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 7 at 9:00 am in the main gymnasium at the high school. The public is invited to attend.

Volleyball against Calhoun tomorrow! JV will play at 6:00, Varsity at 7:00; there will be no Freshmen game. It is also our PINK OUT GAME in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Cancer survivors are our guests for the evening.


JCMS Girls Basketball: 8th grade lost to Gillespie 34-19. 7th grade won 47-21.


Players and parents enjoyed the JCHS Soccer Banquet last night. Congrats on a great season … 16-7 ! The team plays against Jacksonville today in Regional competition.


JCMS teachers are using data to set goals for their students. The teachers have set goals for themselves as well as their students. They are working to ensure the maximum growth for every students. Check out their great data wall.


JCHS students are participating in a new Entrepreneurship class, Jersey County CEO. Congratulations to the new company officers. COO-Hailey Tonsor, CEO-Madalyn Eardley, CFO-Seanah Lewis - The team is eager to begin their class business in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned for updates!

Congratulations to Michelle Maag and Lily Ingram who qualified for the Girls IHSA State Tennis Tournament in Chicago next week! They placed third in the doubles portion of the Belleville Althoff Sectional. Great job ladies!

Students is Mrs. Isringhausen’s 7th grade STEM class are hard at work disassembling old electronics. They will be upcycling the parts to create new things!





JCHS students participated in the “Great American Shakeout” earthquake drill today. Thanks to Mrs Brunaugh for sharing a picture of her Panther Time class practicing the correct safety measures!


Celebrating Talent!
Congrats to the 25 JCHS musicians who were recognized (and selected) for their incredible talents at the ILMEA auditions on Monday. Students were selected for superior performances in Band, Jazz Band, Choir, and Jazz Ensemble. Nicely done!
