JCHS Scholar Athlete Award
Corree Yates, Jaxon Brunaugh, Amelia Strebel, and Ari Leslie have been announced by the JCHS Department Leaders as Scholar Athletes. These four seniors will be nominated by Principal Thomas Leslie to represent JCHS for the Telegraph Silver Medallion Scholar Athlete Award in April.
Selection for this honor requires that student-athletes be academically ranked in the top 8% of their graduating class and athletically stand out at the varsity level in their respective sport.
Mr. Leslie states "We are so proud of the legacy that these Scholar Athletes will leave at JCHS. They have proven themselves in the classroom and shined in their athletics in order to be selected by the JCHS department heads for this honor."

13 JCHS students traveled to Blackburn College to participate in the Academic Challenge Competition. Jersey finished 1st in their division and advance to sectionals next month at SWIC! Good work, team...keep up the great work!
