Ms. Kolkmeyer's Photoshop and Advanced Adobe classes were able to take 2nd graders drawings of "Are You My Monster?" and recreate them digitally and put them in book form. All students were able to see a drawing, illustrate and write the story, print and present the book to their 2nd-grade buddy. JCHS was happy to host the classes from Mrs. LeBlanc, Mrs. Fessler, Mrs. DeSherlia and Mrs. Weinmann.

After reading the book, “Are You My Monster?,” 2nd Grade Classes from East drew and described their own monsters on paper. Mrs. Heitzig’s Design Classes at JCHS learned to sew by hand then created felt monsters that mimicked the 2nd grader’s drawings. Pictured is the classes of Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Crone, and Mrs. Snyders.
