The Panthers are headed to State! JCHS Varsity Cheerleaders qualified for ICCA State Competition today in Edwardsville. They will compete at ICCA State Competition on January 11th.





The JCHS Varsity Cheerleaders competed today in Edwardsville at the ICCA sectional competition. The squad qualified for the state competition in Springfield in January. Congratulations ladies!


JCMS rocked the house at our Christmas/Winter Sports Assembly! You know it is a great day when the big man in a red suit makes a special appearance!

West Elementary would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the many persons who have given donations to students at our school. We thank each and every one of you including Rebecca Myers, The Jersey County Ministerial Alliance, and the Grafton Oyster Bar. We are so fortunate to live in such a giving community!

JCMS students collected over 2,000 cans and donated $2,250 to the Salvation Army this Christmas season! Our kids have big hearts!



JCMS presents the December students and faculty of the month. Kelsey Isringhausen, Dylan Lamparter, Mary Fields, Layla Walls, Christine Herkert and Diana Goetten. Keep up the great work!!


Mrs. Goetten’s 7th grade Literature classes had publishing parties to celebrate writing their Epilogues for the novel “The Giver”. Students walked or danced to music down the “red carpet” and read their Epilogues to the class.




Several students from JCHS spent their
last day before Christmas Break volunteering their time at the Angel Tree. Very blessed to have such thoughtful students in our district!
