We had an amazing week at JCMS and these students were a big reason for that! They were referred to the office by their teachers for being amazing!

These amazing chorus students made the ILMEA Junior Choir and will perform at Western Illinois University on November 6th! Mr. Schroeder and all of JCMS are very proud of them!

The third week of October each year is recognized as National School Bus Safety Week! In the Jersey 100 District, we ensure bus safety is provided each and every day as we transport students to and from school. Our bus drivers and riders do an amazing job keeping students safe and on time. #GoJerseyPanthers

Girls Tennis had a great day in Chicago at the IHSA State Tournament! Lily Ingram and Elise Noble went 3-1 on the day and play tomorrow morning in the Consolation Quarterfinals!

Mrs. Ross and Ms. Rench presented to Mrs. Campbell's freshmen classes today. They presented information on credits, transcripts and resources to utilize when exploring careers! They will be visiting Mr. Borkowski's classes on Friday 10/22.

Students in Mrs. Goetten’s 7th grade English Language Arts classes are breaking down informational text structures in collaborative groups today. Reading is so much more than just books - JCMS values strengthening reading skills to become life-long readers and learners!

It was Senior Night at JCHS Volleyball on Wednesday. Seven Seniors were recognized before the game. Varsity went on to beat Calhoun. JV lost and Freshmen won.


An Industrial Electricity and Process Operations representative from LCCC will be at JCHS during Panther Time (8:17-8:45) on Thursday, October 21 in Room C135. This targets students who enjoy working with their hands, fix, take apart, and figure out how things work. This program is about 1 1/2 years. Most will start out making $23-$28 and with 3 years experience, you can expect to earn $45 per hour. Email Mrs. Heitzig if you have questions!

JCHS Girls Tennis qualified two doubles teams to the IHSA State Tournament! Congratulations to Kate Jones, Sabrina Ingram, Lily Ingram and Elise Noble!

Jersey JV Football Panthers finish their season undefeated (8-0) win a win against CM, 50-12. Congrats to the players and Coach Skinner. Enjoy your retirement from teaching coach!


The Civic Memorial Eagles defeated the JCHS Panthers Friday night: 42-14.

JCHS Students! Lewis and Clark Community College is visiting JCHS on Monday, October 18 at 10am. Get a pass from the Guidance Office if you want to see the LC rep!
