JCAD and TEENS are sponsoring two movies at the Stadium Theatre on Saturday, October 29, at 10am. Admission is free. The concession stand will be open for buying snacks. Month two of Panther Time clubs at East Elementary was a success! We LOVE the sense of belonging this program brings to our school! ALL students belong to a club of their choice. Various clubs include cooking, reading, STEM, Jr. Blue Crew, sports, painting, and MANY more!

PE is full of ghosts and goblins this week! The Ghostbusters must tag the ghosts as they travel back and forth between haunted houses gathering food. There were lots of smiles and laughs during this action-packed activity!

These amazing 7th graders in Mrs. Wittman’s social studies class at JCMS were treated to lunch and ice cream for their hard work - they completed all of the requirements to submit well written essays for the Daughters of the American Revolution essay contest!

Senior athletes visited JCMS this morning to sign their trading cards - Heroes in our awesome small town!




JCHS Seniors!
BtB on Wednesday, Oct. 26th, from 8th hour until 4 pm, Dr. Geers will help students with college applications and help them create an FSA ID (needed for filling out FAFSA). Interested students report to the IMC anytime after 7th hour.


Students from Mrs. Rojas’s Spanish 2 & 3 classes had Maria Buckner, originally from Mexico, teach them to make tamales and tostadas. She shared her experiences growing up in Mexico and the cultural differences. Everyone enjoyed trying new foods and learning about another culture!

The JCMS Blue Crew showed up in full force this morning to wrap the trees at Dolan Park with lights in preparation for the Downtown Country Christmas Bright Nights!




Grafton Elementary students had soooo much fun at the fall carnival tonight. Thank you, PTO!

JCMS Cookout!
Students who passed all classes, received 0 major infractions, and less than 3 minor infractions throughout 1st Quarter were treated to a cookout reward with great food - hot off the grill, games, and awesome music by our very own DJ Mr. Schroeder! We have AMAZING kids at JCMS!!


After reading with Kindergarten students at West Elementary, Senior Football players autographed PAC Trading Cards for students to keep! Kindergarten LOVED this!
The original plan was to have the Senior players read weekly during football season. However, our outstanding Seniors asked if they can continue to visit once a week! Way to go, boys! You are making a difference!




Last night we wrapped up the Annual 7th and 8th grade girls basketball round robin tournament at JCMS. All teams gave great effort and played with heart.

JCHS will honor our Veterans with an assembly on November 10th at 9 am in the main gym. There will be a small reception at approximately 10 am in the cafeteria. We are honored to have Lieutenant Colonel Anthony K. Krueger, Jr. as our guest speaker and the event is open to all.

Books and Brew Coffee continues to be successful thanks to this lovely group! Coffee and additional beverages can be purchased by students in our Media Center throughout the day for $2 per cup.
