The JCHS Boys Bowling team placed 3rd in Sectionals and advances to the IHSA State Tournament! The Panthers finished the day with a pin count of 6,343, an improvement of 309 pins from their Regional Title performance. Danny Towell (1384), Adam Kribs (1270), Jacob Elliot (1241), Tyler Ayers (1237), Joey Kiel (1211), Hayden Longley, Simon Purcell and Isaac Wargo represent JCHS and they are coached by Steven Nelson who is assisted by Samantha Ayers.
Following their stellar performance at Sectionals, the Panthers are now ranked 10th in the state, according to IHSA.
The IHSA State Series is held in O'Fallon, IL at St. Clair Bowl. The tournament begins on Friday, January 27th and will conclude on Saturday, the 28th.
