The JCHS Scholastic Bowl team traveled to Metro East Lutheran High School (MELHS) to compete against MELHS, Waterloo and Mascoutah.  The Panthers beat Waterloo, but lost to MELHS and Mascoutah.

JCHS Girls Basketball traveled to Jacksonville to take on the Crimsons in a non conference game.  The JV team lost by a score of 20-38.  The Varsity team won an exciting game in double overtime.  The Panthers were led by Tessa Crawford who scored 32 points.  Cate Breden, once again, knocked down 2 free throws late to secure the win.  Tessa is now 2 points away from scoring 1000 points in her high school career.  The Panthers are back in action tomorrow at the Carrollton Tournament.  As the #2 seed, they play #9 seed, Marquette.  Tipoff is 3:30.  Come support the Panthers against the Explorers and witness an incredible personal accomplishment as Crawford attempts to score her 1000th point.
