The JCHS Boys Bowling team, coached by Steve Nelson, wins a Regional Championship at home. The 2023 IHSA Regional competition was hosted by Jersey Community High School at Tri County Bowl. The team's combined series was 6034.
Tyler Ayers led the Panthers with a series score of 1309, which was the top score for the day. He earned a medal as the Individual Champion. Danny Towell finished with a 1224 series (5th overall), Adam Kribs with a 1220 series (6th overall), Jacob Elliot (12th overall) with a 1151 series and Joey Kiel bowled a 1130 series (15th overall). The team advances to Sectional competition next Saturday in Collinsville.
