Bowling Update

The JCHS Boys Bowling team is competing in IHSA Regional play in Alton, IL at Bowl Haven Lanes.  After the first 3 games, the Panthers are in great shape sitting in 2nd place behind host school, Alton High.  The Panthers (3022) are 35 pins behind the Redbirds (3057).  There are 12 teams competing at Bowl Haven for the Regional Championship.  The Highland Bulldogs are in 3rd place, 285 pins behind the Panthers.

Adam Kribs leads the Panthers with a pin total of 691 through three games.  Ryan Mackintosh entered play as a substitute after the 1st game and has come on strong.  He bowled a 235 in game 2 and a 237 in game 3 for a total of 472.   Joey Kiel has a pin total of 630 and bowled a 248 in game 3, Eli Hetzel has a pin total of 546, Simon Purcell has a pin total of 539 and Hayden Longley bowled a 144 in game 1.  Isaac Wargo and Jacob Hetzel also represent the Panthers in IHSA post season play.  

The Panthers will return to action after lunch.  They have 3 games to take the lead over Alton.
