The Jersey 100 BOE approved the hire of Mr. Trent Morgan as the new JCHS Bowling Coach. Following a late resignation from the former coach, Coach Morgan stepped in as the interim to prepare for the first week of matches and put his name in the hat to become the next head coach.
Coach Morgan coached the Civic Memorial Eagles Bowling program from 2016-2021. During that time, Coach Morgan led a team to the State Tournament and advanced to Sectionals 3 of his 5 years at CM. Morgan was named the Alton Telegraph Coach of the Year in 2016 and coached the Alton Telegraph Bowler of the Year. Morgan also coached many different All Conference bowlers and had multiple bowlers recognized at the Southern Illinois Bowling Banquet during his tenure at CM.
