The JCMS and JCHS Cross Country teams traveled to Piasa Country in Southwestern to race in the Southwestern Invitational. The JCMS Boys team won the invite while the Girls took 2nd.. Congratulations to JCMS Girls XC runner Brenley Kelly for winning the race. The JCHS Boys XC team finsihed in 3rd place. Medalists were Logan Wade, Matt Bishop, Jack Deist, Kaden Strohbeck and Lincoln Diamond. Medalists for the Girls were Reese Lorton, Ali Brooks, Addison Campbell, Belle Peterbaugh and Rory Speidel.
JCHS Football hosted Waterloo on Friday night. The Panthers lost the game by a score of 12-21.
