NGWSM - Krueger

In celebration of Nation Girls and Women in Sports Month (NGWSM), we are celebrating several of our student athletes participating in girls sports.  Today, we will celebrate Kari Krueger.  Kari is a  Senior and a three sport athlete; Volleyball, Cheer and Softball.  She has garnered MVC All-Conference honors  in Volleyball and Softball and competed at the ICCA State Competition for Cheer this winter.  She has committed to play NCAA DI Softball at Miami University-Ohio.

Kari's quote in celebration of NGWSM is, "National Girls and Women in Sports Month acknowledges the progress made for young girls and women in athletics, and has encouraged female athletes to reach for their goals."

JCHS Head Softball Coach, Chelsey Crnokrak, had this to add, "Providing opportunities for our female students to play sports sets them up for success in countless ways: teaching leadership skills, how to deal with adversity, and what it means to be a good teammate, to name a few. High school female athletes are setting positive examples for young girls in their communities, showing them how proud they should be to "play like a girl" and what a privilege it is to represent their school and team. I wouldn't be where I am today without the opportunities playing sports provided for me."

Congratulations on an incredible high school career, Kari!  Jersey 100 is proud of you!
