In celebration of Nation Girls and Women in Sports Month (NGWSM), we are celebrating several of our student athletes participating in girls sports. Today, we will celebrate Basketball and Tennis team member, Cate Breden. Cate is a senior at JCHS and was a member of the Basketball and Tennis teams all four years.
Cate's quote in celebration of NGWSM is, "Playing sports helped me realize that I have to work hard to achieve my goals."
JCHS Head Tennis Coach, Dan Diamond, had this to add, "When I think of National Girls and Women in Sports Month, I am amazed at our fantastic female athletes at JCHS who go above and beyond to represent our school and community. They balance academics, family obligations, jobs, and their sometimes grueling athletic schedules with a sense of determination and grace. I am extremely proud of our female athletes, their sense of competing at the highest level, and all they do to make JCHS a great place!"
