Good Evening! We are pumped and excited at JCMS to welcome our students for a fantastic school year. Our first day of student attendance is Thursday, August 15. We will be hosting a Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday, August 14 from 6:30-7:30. This open house format gives you some time to tour the building and meet teachers. Fifth-grade students can even drop off some supplies.
Parents - I am posting this news article to ask for your help. At this time, we still have approximately 80 sixth-grade students that do not have their required physical or vaccination records on file. Students that do not have these records on file before the first day of school will be excluded from attending. Records should be turned into the office during regular school hours on Wednesday, August 14 or during our open house, that evening, from 6:30-7:30.
Also, we will be deploying our Chromebooks to students on Friday, August 16. We still have a large number of families that have not paid their technology fee and this may result in a delay for students receiving their device.
As always, we have support staff available in the office to answer questions, collect records, assist with waivers, and collect any necessary fees. You can also access fees in Skyward under your Family Access Account. Please do not hesitate to call us at 618.498.5527 with any questions.
