About the Workforce Developement Program

The JCHS Workforce Development Program is designed to give our students career planning and work-based learning opportunities that will aid them in securing productive employment in their chosen career as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.  Students can engage in internships, job shadowing, and/or apprenticeships in a variety of fields.  Our goal is for every student at JCHS to graduate with a career plan.  Whether it be to enroll in a university, community college, trade school, military or to immediately join the workforce, JCHS is committed to assisting students in finding their career pathway.

CNA Program

CNA Program: (with photo) Jersey Community High School has partnered with Jersey Community Hospital and Lewis and Clark Community College to offer our Certified Nursing Assistant program.  Students who are enrolled will have their classes at Jersey Community Hospital during the school day.  Clinicals and practical experiences occur on Saturdays and are also hosted at Jersey Community Hospital.  This allows our students to become certified in a program that will make them immediately employable in the medical care field.  This program is open to Juniors and Seniors who are on track to graduate and are interested in pursuing a career in Health Sciences.
