The students in Mrs. Desherlia's class coded Sphero robots to complete a maze challenge. The students had to determine the speed, angle and time of each move the robot made. Completing the challenge took a lot of perseverance. The students never gave up even when they were frustrated. They changed one variable at a time until the robot followed the correct path to complete the maze. The excitement displayed on the faces of these 2nd graders once they completed the challenge proved that their hard work was definitely worth the effort.
