Today's Back to School Countdown Features a 4th Grade Teacher... "Summer is such a special time for teachers. We get to spend more time with our biological kids, take classes and other professional development as students, and plan and prep for a whole new classroom full of creative young minds. Nothing says back to school better than the smell of brand new crayons, the glossy shine of the hallway floor, or jittery feeling on the first morning of the new year. (Even when it is your 28th as a teacher!) Right now East Elementary seems a little quiet, sad, and lonely.
