Today's Back to School Countdown Features a 4th Grade Teacher... "As a kid, back to school time held so many feelings - excitement of a new year with a new teacher, anticipation of reuniting with old friends, and nervousness about making new friends. I always loved the annual shopping trip with my mom and sister to fill our supply lists, buy our new school shoes, and a new book bag. Any sadness I had with summer ending was short lived once the first day of school arrived. As a teacher, I can only hope to create the same fond memories that I have experienced as a child with my new students.
